With BlackBerry (RIM) being the talk of the town, here is another bit of news from the guys at Research in Motion, The gorgeous clamshell BlackBerry Pearl Flip is out today that’s November 6 through Rogers Wireless in Canada, so it’s in the shops just in time for the Christmas shopping, although the BlackBerry Pearl Flip has been available since October 13 in the United States.
This is BlackBerry’s first ever flip phone, with the Pearl weighing in at 3.6 ounces and coming fully equipped with 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD/SDHC, SureType QWERTY keyboard and two high-resolution, light sensitive colour displays with the external display enabling you to see who is calling, texting or emailing you without opening the flip.
The BlackBerry Pearl Flip comes fully loaded with great software like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, BlackBerry Maps, Dataviz Documents on the Go and BlackBerry Desktop Manager. So if you are in Canada and want the new BlackBerry Flip then it will set you back $50 and that includes a three-year voice and data contract.
