According to Intel, while at the Intel Developer Forum in Taipei, Taiwan; the shortcomings with the Apple iPhone are not because of Apple, but because they have come from ARM.
This comment followed a few statements from Intel’s VP, Shane Wall. Wall apparently said any type of app which requires and horse power at all on the iPhone, struggles.
Wall also said that Apple Chief, Steve Jobs’ “ability to sell the hyped device fell short in a number of areas.”
Intel’s Pankaj Kedia, didn’t halt as the Apple iPhone though, and claims ARM is a malaise afflicting smartphones in general, and announced: “The smartphone of today is not very smart. The problem they have today is they use ARM.”
